Asda Opticians opened their first practice in 2000 and have expanded to 157 practices across all four nations of the UK. To manage their rapid growth in the online business sector, we assisted Asda in revamping their eCommerce website and enhancing the user experience. This improvement not only enables customers to purchase glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses through the website but also facilitates patients in booking eye tests online.
In this project, I'm working closely with the client and collaborated with our product and development team to delivered the whole project from customer journey, wireframing, prototyping to front-end development.
OVERVIEW
CHALLENGE
The original official website has a non-responsive layout and provides a poor user experience, discouraging users from returning to the site. Additionally, the website is not fully eCommerce-enabled, making it challenging to generate profits and drive footfall to the physical store.
GOAL
To deliver a fully responsive website and better user experience that enables user to find their products and purchase online easily. Also it enable customer to book an appointment easily which further bringing engagement to the store.
RESULTS
40% growth of the website conversion rate.
38% growth of the customer engagement and online conversion.
42% growth of online appointment booking
